Capt. Rohit Bhatia - Managing Director

Rohit is the founding director of Wade Maritime Consultants. A seasoned petroleum and shipping industry professional with over 20 years of operational, management and research experience. Extensive technical & operational experience gained by serving at sea as a master mariner for over 12 years. The last 9 years he has worked in the oil and shipping sectors as a Maritime Business Analyst and a Senior Transportation Consultant. A specialist in shipping operations, maritime economics, business studies, feasibility studies, transportation strategies & loss prevention. He has a MSc in International Shipping from University of Plymouth, UK, a Master Mariner (FG) Certificate of Competency from the UK DOT and is a ISO 9001 QMS Lead Auditor.

Mr. Jeffrey Blum

Jeffrey Blum has been involved in shipping and trading since 1972. He is the fourth generation of a shipping family, has been a member of the Baltic Exchange since 1976 and has worked with a Lloyd's underwriter and as a shipbroker, charterer, ship owner, ship operator, gasoil futures broker and commodities trader in London and abroad.

Jeffrey is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, is a Supporting Member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA) and has been an arbitrator (both sole and tribunal) and expert witness on many cases since 1983. In addition, he has been on the Council of the International Commodity and Shipping Arbitration Service (ICSAS) since its inception in 2005.
